Lake Dulverton, Oatlands

Lake Dulverton is a shallow, ephemeral lake bordered by residential areas, a golf course and farmland. The lake is a bird sanctuary, which, when full, covers an area of around 230 hectares. The lake is divided into three sections by dam walls and one section is kept artificially full in times of drought.
A popular bird watching spot, the flora and fauna of the lake varies depending on season and water level.
